The Yard is a social enterprise of Helping Hands consisting of a café and workshop. This has been an exciting new development of the work over the last few years. It firstly brings in a revenue stream for the charity and also allows us to provide opportunities for work and training for those who otherwise would not have the opportunity.
The café is open Thursday and Friday 10am – 2pm and it is also now open the first and third Friday nights in the month for our new pizza nights! With pizzas made fresh to order and cooked in our Ooni pizza oven this is definitely something you must try.
The online shop below highlights some of the products that have been made in the workshop side of The Yard. These are handcrafted by our staff and volunteers and they can also make products specific to order if you require.
